Run a Test Schedule

You can run a test schedule of a custom report through the Schedules page to make sure your report is in format that you expect. You can send the report to the email addresses and NexPort Campus users currently configured or you can just send it to your own email address.

To run a test schedule:

1. On the NRS homepage, click Schedule a Custom Report.

3. The Schedules page is displayed.

2. In the Schedules list, click the icon next to the schedule report that you need to run.
3. The Run Schedule dialog box is displayed.

3. In the Recipient Emails box, add the email addresses to which you need to share and run a test schedule for.

Note:

You can separate the email IDs by comma (,) or a semi-colon (;).

4. In the Recipient NexPort Users box, select the users’ email addresses defined in NexPort.

Note:

Type the first few characters of the user to whom you need to send the custom report defined in the schedule. NRS populates the matching results. The sent email includes a link to download the report snapshot. The report is not attached to the email.

Click the icon to remove NexPort user.

5. Click Run.
6. A test schedule runs, the emails are sent and the report is downloaded in .CSV format.

Note:

This does not create a file archive.
